Education
Education is a cornerstone in the purpose and mission for SAGE. This educational initiative is primarily executed through a relationship with Emerald Expositions and the Environments for Aging (EFA) brand. SAGE leadership serves on the education and content committee for the EFA Conference, along with the Center for Health Design, AIA Design for Aging and IIDA. SAGE’s focus in the building of conference content revolves around the core design principles and philosophy of SAGE…person-centered and outcomes based. Many SAGE members have been long time presenters of education at the Environments for Aging (EFA) Conference over the years and continue to play vital roles in education for senior living.
In addition to conference-based education, SAGE continues to build a strong electronic, web-based education platform. The goal of the SAGE Education Committee is to provide monthly webinars that are content-rich and interactive, involving thought leaders in the industry. SAGE webinars are AIA approved and FREE for members. Access webinar resources (some require member login).
